Kim Mathis

Kim Mathis is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and serves as the Director of Education for the Mississippi State Medical Association in Ridgeland, MS. Prior to joining the Mississippi State Medical Association, she was with St. Dominic Behavioral Health Services as the Director of Outreach Services for 17 years.

Mathis is very active in her community serving on PTO boards for her children and has served on various community boards for over 20 year. She was also an active member of Junior Auxiliary of Madison County. She is married to a 16 -year Career Ridgeland Police Officer, they have 3 children and are members of Broadmoor Baptist Church.

As a spouse of a Police Officer and a therapist, I have seen first hand the struggles that officers and their families go through on a daily bases and I want to be part of the solution to assist them. First Responders was created to make a difference with individuals, their families and agencies.
